As a seasoned counsellor, Marie‑Hélène Côté, M. Ps. began her career in large organizations before turning to consulting in reputable firms and founding her firm in 2011.
Recognized for her listening skills, she guides leaders individually or as a team in becoming aware of their impact and influence and in achieving their highest aspirations.
Marie‑Hélène is committed, has a keen analytical mind and is resolutely focused on concrete solutions and action. Her clients appreciate her for the accuracy of her observations, her understanding of the real needs underlying the mandate, her humour and her ability to establish a relationship of trust, all in complete confidentiality.
She has conducted more than 2,000 psychometric evaluation projects and has accompanied several hundred executives as an executive coach. The Privy Council Office of Canada mandates her as a consultant for selection committees for CEOs of Crown corporations. Her diagnostic skills are also sought in the context of investment projects, succession identification and the development of leadership practices at the organizational level. Since 2014, she has been acting as a coach for the International Committee of the Red Cross as part of a leadership development program deployed on several continents.
Her pragmatic approach is inspired by positive psychology and is based on the rigorous application of measurement and intervention tools. She is also the first Canadian woman to be certified in Conversational Intelligence®, a methodology that draws on the latest developments in neuroscience. This innovative method has been successfully experimented with complex problem-solving interventions in professional services firms over the past few years.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from McGill University and a master’s and Doctoral degree in Organizational Psychology from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec and the Canadian Psychological Association.
